Our group’s participation in its fourth Footy Colours Day was an extraordinary result – we doubled our 2019 fundraising target of $25,000 to reach a final total of $51,375.60 for the Fight Cancer Foundation.
Last Wednesday we had the privilege of welcoming Fight Cancer Foundation Managing Director Eric Wright to our Spotswood head office who thanked our construction group for our amazing effort in raising over $51,000. And although the Footy Colours Day campaign doesn’t finish until the end of October, our group’s effort has us as the largest fundraising contributor throughout Australia this year!
We presented Eric with our group’s giant cheque who said, “The money you raised will go directly to supporting children. The Footy Colours Day funds go directly to providing educational support to children and young people being treated for and recovering from cancer.”
The Toll project site was invited to attend The Red Ball on Saturday 14 September – Fight Cancer Foundation’s premier charity event raising funds to support people living with cancer and their families. The team certainly had a fun night!
Our team looks forward to participating in Footy Colours Day 2020 with a bold new target to support kids living with cancer.
