We have commenced work on the East Brunswick Village project.

Contracted to Hacer Group,we’re delivering the major formwork package for the project. To date, we have been involved in building many residential projects but the East Brunswick Village is the largest residential project undertaken to date.

The overall project scope for the East Brunswick Village includes the construction of a new mixed-use development covering a footprint of 18,000m2 including 223 units, a Coles supermarket and Liquorland, four retail tenancies and a two-level basement car park and is expected to be completed in late 2019.

Project Coordinator Wasantha Gunarathna has a hands-on role at the East Brunswick Village site. He is responsible for the coordination of works with consultants, main contractor and all of the subcontractors. “I make sure up-to-date documentation is obtained before the start of work and it’s as per program, as well as computation of order materials and delivery as per program.” Of course, life as a Project Coordinator is not always straightforward. Wasantha is also involved in resolving and clarifying any issues with drawings as well as on-site and coordinating shop drawings and uploading them onto construction management software Aconex.
