It’s been an exciting year of progress for the Infrastructure and Structures assets team having recently moved to their largest facility yet to accommodate the growing list of assets and team members.
The yard facility located on Hudsons Road, and close to Hall Street head office, is home to all construction plant and equipment for both businesses as well as department teams including safety, surveying, assets and logistics.
Group Asset and Logistic Manager Kris Bogdanovski says, “As part of the move, we now have our safety team working out of the same location, which has a large training facility to accommodate regular safety training sessions.”
Although the yard staff operate out of a separate facility to our head office, everyone shares the same company values and most importantly live the culture and enjoy coming to work.
Last Friday the yard team kicked off the Queen’s birthday long weekend with a spit lunch that was thoroughly appreciated by all. Kris says, “An afternoon like this is what brings our employees together and strengthens us. And what better way to reward a hard-working team – a BBQ spit lunch before a long weekend.”
