Our construction group – Conset and Civilex – is participating in the Melbourne West Jobs Fair on Tuesday 9 October 2018 at the Sunshine Convention Centre. The Australian Government is working in partnership with the Victorian Government to deliver three Melbourne Jobs Fairs. These Jobs Fairs will bring together job seekers, employers, employment service providers, and recruitment agencies.
We invite you to come along and have a chat with our Human Resources team about working with our construction group.
Our Construction Group
Our construction group specialises in construction works across transport, port, rail, water, resources, urban development, and renewable energy industries in both private and public sectors. Working with some of Australia’s leading civil engineering, development, and construction companies, we deliver and exceed our clients’ expectations on major services involving earthworks, roadworks, car parks, drainage works, landscaping, concrete paving, formwork, precast installation, and crushed rock/asphalt pavements.
Our construction group is young and vibrant comprising of diverse people and roles. Our on-site workforce is predominantly made up of labourers and skilled plant operators who are supported by our experienced supervisors.
We are unique for the fact that we directly employ all our labourers, plant operators, leading hands and site supervisors. Civilex is involved in the Major Project Skills Guarantee and Conset offers apprenticeships which provide opportunities for Victorian apprentices, trainees, and engineering cadets to work on some of Victoria’s biggest building and infrastructure and construction projects.
In the spirit of reconciliation, Symal acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land, sea and water.
