Cowper Street Capital Improvement Project

The Cowper Street Capital Improvement Project aims to improve community safety and accessibility by transforming the street into a functional and appealing thoroughfare. Key features of the plan include: a new road surface, improved drainage, pedestrian footpaths and footbridge, greenery and landscaping, as well as lighting to enhance safety at night.

Unyte’s scope of works included drainage and pit construction, road excavation and pavement construction, handling and disposal of contaminated materials, concrete sleeper retaining walls, permeable footpath construction, structures (stairs and channel crossing bridge), landscaping and traffic control.
