The decision to create Wamarra, our majority-owned and operated Aboriginal civil construction company, was born out of our determination to make a meaningful impact on inclusion and the economic independence of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples via long term, meaningful career opportunities.

Our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) demonstrates our ongoing commitment to creating a culturally respectful, inclusive and safe workplace for all our people and making an impact on the wider construction industry.

We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Australia’s First Peoples whose cultural practices continue today and declare our intention to take more impactful action towards reconciliation between the wider Australian community, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

    Since 2003 Conset, our structures division, has been engineering advanced construction solutions that enable bold ideas to take shape.

    Civilex founded

    Our lead infrastructure division, self-performs construction work that lays the foundation for communities to evolve and thrive.

  3. 2014 - Establishment

    Group Directors appointed

    Recognising our growth trajectory, a Group Board of Directors was appointed in 2014 to support our leadership team.

  4. 2016 - Diversification

    Partnership with Incore

    Joining forces with Incore, (Industrial, Commercial, Residential and Retail development) enables us to create quality developments.

    Alignment of a vision

    Our plans for a closely aligned group of businesses began to take shape.
