Charge undergraduate program

Take charge.

We know the next generation of civil construction is already in the making. At Symal, we’re about collaborating with students – knowing we can all learn from each other for the good of the industry’s future.

Our Charge Undergraduate Program exists to give uni students an opportunity to step into the industry and gain invaluable experience in civil construction along the way.

We offer tailored undergraduate placements ranging from 12 weeks to 12 months, helping students turn their degree in to real, hands-on experience in a supportive team environment.

Our undergraduates are fully immersed into our workplace – both on site and in the office – and become active contributors to the Symal team.

Undergraduates can fast track their careers by applying to our Ignite Graduate Program once their Charge experience is complete, upon graduation. The knowledge, learnings and exposure to live project environments gained during the Charge program prepares students well for an accelerated Ignite program experience.

We partner with Swinburne, Deakin, University of Melbourne, RMIT and Monash University to develop employment-ready learners and well-rounded leaders of the future.
