Boneo Treatment Plant

Boneo is located approximately 65km south of Melbourne within the shire of Mornington Peninsula local government area. 

Unyte was contracted by JHSB JV to carry out civil works to upgrade the drainage and roadways within the wastewater treatment facility. 

As the facility remained fully operational during the construction period, great care care was taken to effectively coordinate with other trades and operations teams. To hand working zones, vehicle and pedestrian access, daily coordination meetings were conducted with the client , subcontractors and operational staff. 

The project required careful planning and coordination because the works had to be carried out at the same time as several other subcontractors, who were working on the existing electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
