The East Sale RAAF Base is a state-of-the-art facility with upgraded pilot training infrastructure as part of the Pilot Training Systems Project to develop trainees from initial flight screening through to advanced fighter training courses.
In conjunction with Laing O’Rourke and the Department of Defence,we completed commencement works at the East Sale RAAF Base. The project included the delivery of a flight line shelter for 28 aircraft, aircraft storage hangar for 17 aircraft, 100,000m of pavements and 50,000m of earthworks. The Infrastructure works package was carried out within the active defence base environment and special care was taken to minimise base operations impacts.
