The Goyder Renewables Zone is one of the largest renewable energy projects in South Australia.

Elecnor Group was awarded the first stage of the 412MW Goyder South Wind Farm, in a consortium with GE Renewable Energy.

Located 100km from Adelaide, the wind farm, once completed, will be equipped with 75 turbines.

The Goyder Renewables zone is expected to be completed in 5 stages, 3 stages in Goyder South comprising of 1200MW of wind generation, 600MW of solar generation and 900MW of battery storage. Goyder North will be completed in 2 stages, made up of wind generation only.

Unyte was engaged to complete bulk earthworks, haul road construction, blade laydown construction, crane hardstand construction and excavation of turbine footings.
