We have been tasked with preparing a site for future residential and industrial development by conducting bulk earthworks and geotechnical remediation.
Consisting of two parts, reactivating existing landfill facilities to import and stockpile enough Fill Material for 250,000 compacted cubic meters, and then excavating and placing this material, alongside importing additional fill material for geotechnical remediation.
Our scope of work included:
sourcing, importing and stockpiling fill material
excavation and placement of stockpiled fill
geotechnical remediation
installation of soil wicks
gas extraction systems
groundwater collection pipes
Noteworthy achievements include installing 1,709 km of wicks in challenging conditions, constructing a wastewater treatment plant, and efficiently stockpiling material. Additionally, the project innovatively utilises material from major government projects for engineered fill, optimising space and efficiency.
