At Symal, we know that success isn’t just where you start, but about where you’re headed, and we’re here to help our people reach their full potential. Our young achiever, Alex Holman, has worked alongside some of the most talented professionals in the industry, and is well on her way to being one herself.
Alex, our dedicated civil construction engineer, has been nominated for the 2024 NAWIC Young Achiever Award for the second consecutive year. The award recognises the dedication and excellence of an individual 30 years or younger, who is involved in construction, property, or infrastructure development industries.
Alex has played a pivotal role in the successful completion of the Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road Duplication Scope under the Pakenham Roads Upgrade. With the responsibility of overseeing the planning, programming, and management of all civil aspects of this pivotal infrastructure project, Alex demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to excellence.
Alex excelled in our Ignite Graduate Program, and just recently had the unique chance to be involved in the Coaching Young People for Success (CYPFS) program where she had the chance to collaborate with company directors to redesign the program. Even though her career is in its infancy, she’s consistently proved that she couldn’t be more deserving of the nomination.
Her journey as a leader in the construction industry is the perfect example to emulate. Clear communication, humility in leadership, and adaptability in diverse environments are traits that we valuable enormously. We have no doubt that Alex will continue to set high standards for herself and her peers, serving as a role model and catalyst for positive change in the industry.
