Please join us in welcoming Duncan Lambert as our new Construction Manager in NSW!

Duncan is a seasoned pro in the construction industry, with over 20 years of experience working in Australia and the UK on large scale civil infrastructure projects.

During his career, Duncan has gained a wealth of knowledge and skills along the way, and we look forward to the strong leadership he’ll provide the NSW team, while cultivating connections with stakeholders to drive quality project delivery.

When asked about his industry experience, Duncan shared that he’d spent a decade working in the United Kingdom, saying, “I worked on a variety of building projects before moving into transport infrastructure such as high-speed rail, light rail, and road projects.”

After moving to Australia in 2011, Duncan joined Abi Group in Newcastle where he played a key role as a Structures Senior Project Manager on the design and construction of the Hunter Expressway. Then spent seven years in Sydney at John Holland as Project Manager on the WestConnex projects; M4 East and Rozelle Interchange.

When the opportunity arose for Duncan to work with the NSW team, it was exactly the lifestyle change he and his family were looking for – the Newcastle-based location will mean time to get out on the golf course more often!

The appeal of joining Symal was an exciting chance for Duncan to be part of an ambitious and progressive business. Professionally, the opportunities are endless to challenge outcomes and drive innovation, growth and success.

Something unique to Symal is the diversity of being involved in multiple projects. Duncan has already hit the ground running to support the teams on the Shoalhaven Landslips and the Hunter Power Project.

We are thrilled to have Duncan join our team, and excited to see his valuable contributions and positive influence on our people and in the regional communities we operate.
