We’re delighted to announce that Robert Dando, Senior Legal Counsel at the Symal Group, has earned a coveted spot in the Roads Australia 2024 Fellowship Program. 

The Program is a unique mentoring initiative that matches industry ‘up and comers’ with some of the most experienced, senior leaders in the Australian infrastructure sector to develop leadership skills, build strong networks and stay engaged in our industry.

Rob’s connection to construction runs deep, shaped by his family’s multi-generational involvement. Growing up, he spent countless hours at his grandparents’ earthmoving business in Geelong, igniting his enduring enthusiasm for the industry’s success.  

He firmly believes that strong relationships built on shared understanding and experience are pivotal in delivering successful construction projects—a vision that will undoubtedly propel the industry forward. 

As Senior Legal Counsel at Symal, Rob’s analytical prowess contributes to informed decision-making, yielding better long-term outcomes. Over the next 3-5 years, he aspires to gain hands-on experience in construction mega-projects, further enriching his expertise.
