We were engaged by NextGen and Beon Energy as the civil contractor for the development of a 19,000m2 solar farm located at Melbourne Airport. The new solar farm was designed to provide power to the four passenger terminals at Tullamarine’s Melbourne Airport, with a 10MW PV generator producing approximately 15% of the airport’s annual electricity consumption.

We completed all of the in-ground electrical and communications scope of works including regrading existing access roads and construction of box culverts, PFAS management (1000m3), construction of a crushed rock access track within the solar farm (7000m2), and trenching and backfilling of electrical and communication conduits within the solar farm (1700m).
