After the 2019 flood in Carrathool Shire, the council secured funding to rehabilitate numerous roads across the area. This initiative included three submissions comprising 21 roads, totaling approximately 315km in length. The project scope entailed medium grading for 65km of roads, heavy formation grading for 70km, gravel re-sheeting for 30km, maintenance grading for 150km, and the construction of three small concrete causeway/culverts.
