Craigieburn Station Car Park

Project completion February 2021
Location Craigieburn
Client VicTrack
Sectors Transport, Rail infrastructure, Roads and freeways

We’re proud to deliver 745 new car parking spaces at Craigieburn Station, making life easier for commuters to find a car park and catch the train.

This project, including all associated infrastructure, was delivered through the Victorian Government’s Car Parks for Commuters program – building and upgrading car parks at stations.

The new car park at Craigieburn meets the demand, with now more than 1200 spaces for people living in the rapidly growing outer Northern suburbs to access public transport.

Built along the eastern edge of the Hume Highway, directly east of the station, we’ve delivered a signalised pedestrian crossing over Potter Street and an upgraded pedestrian crossing over the railway line for safe access to the station from the new car park.

With additional bicycle parking, multiple entry and exit points, security with CCTV and lighting, and accessible parking for people of all abilities, this truly serves the needs of the growing community.

Additional scope of works included all drainage works, installation of the lighting and camera system, construction of bioretention and attenuation basin, bicycle parking, and the construction of retaining wall under Hume Highway bridge.

A fantastic project that our team are really proud to deliver.
