Symal was awarded Whittlesea City Council contract to carry out the road rehabilitation and upgrade of McKimmies Road in Bundoora for a 1km section of the road.

The works required significant planning due to compulsory road opening during construction works, including peak periods.

Traffic management and coordination with stakeholders and the community were crucial components to the successful delivery of the project.
