Contracted to VicRoads, Symal completed the 9km section of road improvement works – 3km south and 6km north of Romsey – identified as one of Victoria’s most dangerous rural roads.
Works included overtaking lanes, widening of roads in preparation for barrier installation along with 67,000 tonnes of class 2 rock and 136,000m2 of spray sealing used to complete the VicRoads Towards Zero initiative project.
In the spirit of reconciliation, Symal acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land, sea and water. We pay respect to their Elders past, present and emerging and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
