Meet our new Group Procurement Manager, Rajeev Bhambari

We’re thrilled to welcome Rajeev Bhambari as our new Group Procurement Manager for Symal. As Symal continues to evolve and grow, we’re constantly seeking new opportunities and perspectives to capitalise on the possibilities that arise.

Bringing over 30 years of procurement expertise across global and Australian markets, Rajeev has excelled in renewable energy, construction, mining, and heavy engineering. He has worked with a range of contractors to enhance profitability across several wind and solar farms, as well as major projects like the Sydney Light Rail. With a background in materials supply, Rajeev understands the supply chain and brings a proven ability to reduce procurement costs and develop strategies to support Symal's growth aspirations.

Reflecting on his new role, Rajeev shared:

What stands out to me is the leadership’s recognition of procurement as a strategic function by placing it within Strategic Operations. With procurement aligned to the strategic vision, I can’t wait to make a meaningful impact on Symal’s continued success.” 

As we expand our presence in New South Wales, Queensland, and South Australia, Rajeev’s leadership will be instrumental in strengthening our strategic procurement capabilities and leveraging our buying power to establish impactful national agreements. 

With his deep experience in procurement systems, high-performing team management, and strategic supply chain modelling, Rajeev is well-positioned to improve our systems, and processes further and drive significant savings.
