Off to the races: Moonee Valley Racecourse redevelopment

We’re excited to share that the Moonee Valley Racing Club has appointed Symal to provide Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) services for the Moonee Valley Racecourse redevelopment. This prestigious project is a significant milestone, not just for Symal but for the entire racing community. 

Our collaboration with Moonee Valley Racing Club aims to enhance the racecourse's functionality, safety, and overall experience, ensuring it remains a premier destination for racing enthusiasts for years to come. 

The redevelopment is extensive and multifaceted, covering everything from essential infrastructure upgrades to aesthetic enhancements. The project will involve the demolition of existing infrastructure post the 2025 Cox Plate and the construction of new underpasses for horses, pedestrians, and vehicles to access the infield. The works also include earthworks, drainage, paving of internal roads, car parking, walking paths, and an ambulance track. We'll also be brightening up the track with lighting and landscaping.
