Reconciliation Week 2026: All In on learning, listening and shared reflection

  • Our culture

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time to reflect on Australia’s shared history and deepen our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and perspectives. It’s also a reminder that reconciliation isn’t something that sits in a moment. It’s ongoing, and something we continue to show up for through listening, learning and action every day.

This year’s theme, All In, is a call to move forward together. It speaks to shared responsibility and the idea that reconciliation is something we’re all part of, through the way we show up, the conversations we have and our willingness to keep learning.

That commitment sits at the heart of our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), and continues to be brought to life through ongoing cultural awareness training across the Group. Delivered in partnership with Wamarra and Indigenous Cultural Connections (ICC), these sessions form part of how we continue building understanding and creating more culturally safe workplaces, on site and in the office.

Conversations that continue beyond the training room

Key members across the Group joined Wamarra Managing Director and proud Wurundjeri man, Hayden Heta, for a conversation about their experiences in cultural awareness training.

Rather than a formal discussion, what unfolded was a series of honest reflections from across the business.

For many, the experience was eye-opening. Emotional. But above all, meaningful.

One message came through clearly across the conversation. Reconciliation is something everyone can take part in. It’s shaped through everyday actions, conversations and the way we choose to listen and engage with one another.
