Shamrock Civil has built a strong reputation over more than 30 years, with established operations across Queensland, South Australia, the Northern Territory and other key locations. The business brings deep experience in complex civil construction, particularly across defence, resources and regional delivery, along with proven client relationships, a skilled workforce and a culture built on long-term presence in regional and northern Australia.
Symal Group Managing Director Joe Bartolo said the completion marks an important step in building a scaled national infrastructure services platform.

Integration will be staged and focused on business continuity, governance, safety, client confidence and growth. Shamrock Civil will continue operating under its established brand in the immediate term.
The acquisition strengthens Symal's footprint in defence and resources sectors and extends the Group's delivery capability across strategically important markets. It also creates new opportunities for people and clients through access to the broader Symal platform, including plant, workforce solutions and a national project pipeline.
Both businesses share a commitment to self-performance, building long-term client relationships and investing in regional communities and careers.
