Unyte, with support from across the Symal Group, raises over $27,000 for the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
Building better together goes beyond our worksites - it’s about supporting the communities we live and work in. This year, our Unyte team led the charge with a heartfelt commitment to the Good Friday Appeal, raising over $27,000 for The Royal Children’s Hospital.
The response across the Group was nothing short of inspiring. Together, we raised over $13,500 – an achievement made even more impactful when Unyte matched the total, dollar-for-dollar, bringing our final contribution to over $27,000.
To rally support and bring a little fun into fundraising, Unyte hosted a Group-wide ‘Guess the Eggs’ competition and fired up BBQs at our offices and project sites across the country.
“It was wonderful to see the smiles on everyone’s faces as everyone came together to raise funds for such an important cause – and had a blast doing it,” said David Caserta, Executive General Manager of Unyte.
This year’s fundraiser also marked a special return to Unyte’s roots. Their support for the Good Friday Appeal honours the legacy of Grampians Excavations, where the tradition of giving back began years ago. Under former owner Jim Leithead, he supported the appeal by opening his remarkable Lincoln car collection to raise vital funds for the hospital.
Every dollar raised will help The Royal Children’s Hospital deliver world-class care to children and their families - funding critical research, staff training, state-of-the-art equipment, and patient support initiatives.
We’re incredibly proud to play our part in supporting the lifesaving work of the hospital and contributing to a brighter, healthier future for young Australians.
Together, we build better and give back where it matters most.
