Helping communities recover from disaster takes more than a rapid response. It takes experience, collaboration and the ability to deliver when it matters most.
That's exactly what Symal was proud to showcase at this year's Disaster & Emergency Management Conference on the Gold Coast, where our team connected with government agencies, local councils, delivery partners and industry leaders to discuss the future of disaster recovery and resilience.
The Symal and Unyte stand was a hub for conversations about disaster resilience, with visitors learning how we support clients and the community at every stage of the disaster lifecycle. From disaster preparedness and resilience planning through to emergency response and long-term recovery we deliver practical solutions that help communities recover faster and build resilience for the future.

The conference provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships with clients and partners while showcasing Symal's national capability across disaster recovery, resilience and emergency management.

For Christian George, National Lead – Defence & Emergency Management, the event highlighted the growing recognition of Symal's capability across the sector.
"We had hundreds of conversations across the three days with local governments, delivery partners and organisations working throughout the emergency management sector," Christian said.
"It was great to showcase what Symal does in this space and demonstrate our ability to deliver projects right across the country."
As extreme weather events become more frequent and recovery programs continue to evolve, collaboration across government, industry and delivery partners has never been more important.
