Welcome Daniel Hussey, our new Project Director for QLD

We’re excited to welcome Daniel Hussey as our new Project Director for Symal QLD. A proud Townsville local, Dan brings 14 years of experience in the construction industry, an extensive network, and a deep understanding of the North Queensland region.

With a proven track record delivering infrastructure projects of all sizes—including in some of the most remote locations—Daniel is well-equipped to lead Symal’s expansion in Queensland.

When asked about his decision to join Symal, Dan shared:

“I saw Symal as a young and agile business with strong growth plans. Now that I’ve settled in, it’s hard not to be impressed with where the business is at. There’s plenty of talent across the group, and I’m excited to play a role in replicating that success up here in Queensland.”

Beyond his professional expertise, Dan is a dedicated family man, spending most of his free time with his wife and three young children. When he’s not with them, you’ll likely find him fishing, playing golf or strumming his guitar.
