Murra Warra Wind Farm

Symal Infrastructure undertook the construction of 61 wind turbines as part of this groundbreaking project. Our scope of work included the construction of 61 turbine foundations, each boasting a 20-meter diameter and requiring 600m3 of concrete and 70 tonnes of steel per foundation.

From excavation and steel placement to concreting and backfilling, Symal Infrastructure handled every aspect of the foundation construction. Following completion, the foundations were handed over to Downer/Senvion for tower erection.

Now completed, the Murra Warra Wind farm has become one of the highest performing wind farms in the southern hemisphere.
