Quirindi Underbridges

The work under this contract between ARTC and Bridge and Civil included a large structures component for the replacement of two bridges in Quirindi, along the Main North Line within the Hunter Valley network.

Routine scheduled maintenance inspections identified deterioration to the point where ongoing maintenance of the asset was no longer viable. The input of these defects into the annual maintenance plan identified that these structures were approaching the end of life.

All work were successfully completed during a scheduled rail close down. The works improved the track and network performance by providing safe and reliable operations.
