This NAIDOC Week, Symal is proud to celebrate the voices and culture of our people. In partnership with Wamarra, four Aboriginal team members share what "deadly" means to them today through their culture, their identity and the future they're building for themselves, their families and the next generation.
They're working alongside us on one of our largest infrastructure projects while building meaningful careers and proudly representing their culture every day. Through their own words, they reflect on what NAIDOC Week means to them, what "deadly" means in their everyday lives and why creating opportunities for future generations matters.
We stand alongside Wamarra in creating meaningful employment and career pathways for Aboriginal people through real project experience across the Group.
By working together, we're helping create opportunities for Aboriginal people to grow their skills, build long-term careers and contribute to projects that make a lasting impact in the communities we serve.
Every story shared this NAIDOC Week is a reminder that opportunity changes lives. Diversity matters and when people are supported to bring their whole selves to work, they create stronger teams, stronger communities and a stronger industry.
As we celebrate 50 Years of Deadly, we're proud to make space for these stories to be shared and celebrated.
We'll continue listening, learning and working alongside Wamarra to create meaningful opportunities, strengthen Aboriginal representation across our industry and back the future for the better.
