Meet Jenna Whitlock: A rising star in Defence

Defence Coordinator, Jenna Whitlock, has made the shortlist for the prestigious Australian Defence Magazine’s (ADM) 30 under 30 Awards.  

This recognition highlights Jenna’s exemplary contributions to the Defence industry and her role in shaping the future of our organisation.

Since joining Symal in 2021, Jenna has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication to driving our success. From managing complex bid writing and tender processes to fostering strong relationships within the Estate Works Program, Jenna’s work has been instrumental in expanding our footprint across Victoria and the East Coast of Australia.

Our Group Defence Manager, Rhys Hannan, who has worked closely with Jenna at Wamarra and now in Defence, puts it best,

“Watching Jenna grow in her role and develop as a professional has been incredible. She’s hardworking, resilient, and undoubtedly a future leader.

Beyond her achievements in the Defence space, Jenna is committed to fostering connections among young women within Symal and the broader industry. After being shortlisted for the ADM 30 under 30 Awards, Jenna expressed her gratitude,

The ADM 30 Under 30 awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday, 5 March 2025, in Canberra.
