Women at Symal: Unpacking AI for the workplace

  • Our culture

One conversation, four locations and plenty of ideas to take away.

This month, our Women at Symal network held a national listening party bringing teams together across our major offices in Brisbane, Adelaide, Avalon and Melbourne.

The session explored the growing role of artificial intelligence in the workplace, with guest speaker Anton Porteus, Director and Learning and Development Specialist at Blank Page sharing insights into how AI is reshaping the way we work. From the opportunities it presents to the practical ways teams can embrace it, the conversation sparked plenty of ideas and discussions amongst the group.

True to the spirit of Women at Symal, each office added its own local touch. Alongside the listening party, teams got creative with activities such as flower arranging and painting, all while enjoying a few nibbles to keep the conversation flowing.

While every event looks a little different, the purpose stays the same, creating opportunities for our people to learn, build meaningful connections and spend time together outside of the day-to-day.

As we continue to grow across Australia, moments like these help bring our people together no matter where they are based. They're a reflection of the strength of our Women at Symal community and our ongoing commitment to supporting, connecting and empowering women across the Group.

We're proud to keep creating opportunities like these that bring our people together, inspire new ideas and strengthen the connections that make our business what it is.

We can't wait for the next one.
