This year, Symal united in pink to help raise awareness for women’s cancer.
Pink Ribbon Day is Cancer Council’s campaign to raise awareness about breast and gynecological cancers, as well as raise funds for prevention programs, support services, and vital cancer research.
According to Cancer Australia, it is estimated that the number of new cases of breast cancer diagnosed in 2022 will be 20,428 women. Symal is determined to play a role in reducing this number. Each of our offices took part in the day by dressing in pink, whether that be pink hi-vis, pink socks, or even a pink cowboy hat to get into the spirit.
It was a fantastic day to enjoy some brightness in the office and have some eye-opening discussions about women’s health.
It was great to see people around the office get involved on the day!
In the spirit of reconciliation, Symal acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land, sea and water. We pay respect to their Elders past, present and emerging and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Australia’s First Peoples whose cultural practices continue today.
